LAKE EMMA TOWNSHIP REGULAR MEETING
DATE: January 06, 2026, at 7:00 pm
The Lake Emma Township Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting of January 06, 2026
called to Order by Chairperson Brian Behrens at 7:00 pm, at the Town Hall. The
Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Present Brian Behrens, Tony Platz, Brian Long, Nan Iles, Krystina Rice, Gene Hanson, Bob Berdahl, Justin Long and Terry Long, Hubbard County Officer Tony Petrie.
CHANGES OR ADDITIONS TO AGENDA – Changed agenda order - Healthy Lakes moved to the 5th Item on the agenda.
Motion by Tony Platz to approve the Clerk’s report of December 02, 2025, seconded Brian Long by Motion carried.

Road report submitted by Justin Long - Things we worked on in Lake Emma Township in December:
Sanding and snowplowing due to the frequent snow/ice storms we have been receiving lately.
Plowed the Town Hall 3 times.
Began brush cutting on Granite Dr.
Moving into the new year, we will continue with the winter maintenance schedule. This means focusing on keeping the roads plowed and sanded and cleaning up any trees that the snow knocks down.
Road Maintenance contract is tabled until February meeting.
Dura Blend Contract discussed.
Motion by Brian Long to approve the Contract for Dura Blend on Holly for and Intrepid Roads. Second by Tony Platz. Motion carried.
Intrepid Road Grant discussed.
Motion by Brian Long to execute the letter to the State of Mn to decline the use of the 2023 LRIP Grant in the amount of $1,1035,347.00. Seconded by Tony Platz
